Since its grand opening in 1995, more than 18 million people have come to the TD Banknorth Garden to see the arena's famous tenants, the NHL's Boston Bruins and NBA's Boston Celtics, as well as world-renowned concerts and sporting events, family shows, wrestling, ice shows and so much more.
The state-of-the-art TD Banknorth Garden is a year-round, 19,600-seat arena, fully equipped with three private restaurants, 104 executive suites, 2,400 club seats, and a multi-million dollar video scoreboard, complete with 360° LED technology.
In 2002, the TD Banknorth Garden also boasted a record-breaking concert season, hosting 34 concerts during the year, a new record in Boston arena history. The arena was also recognized by many industry publications as one of the top arenas in the country. Arena industry publication Venues Today ranked the TD Banknorth Garden as the No. 2 arena in the country for 2002 and Concert trade publications Pollstar and Billboard Magazine ranked the TD Banknorth Garden at No. 3.
Fans can still enjoy the same cuisine they gobbled up at the Garden - huge pretzels, plump hot dogs, fresh popcorn, and freah baked pizza - along with new treats provided at the 36 concession stands at the Fleet Center. There are also 2 upscale full-service restaurants, but you must reserve well in advance.
The TD Banknorth Garden doesn't own or operate any local parking facilities. However, there are several parking lots and garages in the area.
FROM THE NORTH:
Take Interstate 93S to Exit 26A/Leverett Circle; Cambridge. Follow the signs towards North Station. Turn right at the end of the ramp. The TD Banknorth Garden will be located on your left.
FROM EASTERN NEW HAMPSHIRE AND NORTHEASTERN MASS.:
Take Interstate 95S to Route 1 S. Follow Route 1 across the Tobin Bridge and follow signs for Storrow Drive/Cambridge. Stay right to exit at Nashua Street and follow signs for North Station. The TD Banknorth Garden will be on your left.
FROM THE SOUTH:
Take Interstate 95N to Interstate 93N to Boston. Enter 93 N Tunnel. Take Exit 26/Storrow Drive. After exiting, stay in the left lane and follow signs for North Station. Make a right at the next set of lights onto Nashua Street. Follow Nashua Street until the end and make a left at the lights. The TD Banknorth Garden will be on your left.
FROM THE WEST:
Take Mass Pike East to Interstate 93N to Boston. Enter 93 N Tunnel. Take Exit 26/Storrow Drive. After exiting, stay in the left lane and follow signs for North Station. Make a right at the next set of lights onto Nashua Street. Follow Nashua Street until the end and make a left at the lights. The TD Banknorth Garden will be on your left.
FROM BACK BAY:
Turn left onto Berkeley Street. At the end of Berkeley Street turn right onto Storrow Drive East. At the end of Storrow Drive, turn right onto Martha Road/Nashua Street. Turn left onto Causeway St. The TD Banknorth Garden will be on the left.
FROM LOGAN AIRPORT:
Exit the airport and follow the signs to the Sumner Tunnel toward Boston. There will be a $3.00 toll when traveling from the airport into Boston. Once through the tunnel, stay in the right lane and take the ramp marked Storrow Dr/Cambridge. Once on the ramp, follow signs for North Station.
