The brand new, state-of-the-art Lucas Oil Stadium is located in downtown Indianapolis, Indiana on South Senate Avenue, only blocks from the RCA Dome, the Colts previous home stadium. The $675 million facility will seat 63,000 people and features a retractable roof and moveable window wall.

The stadium will feature two Daktronics high-definition scoreboards at northwest and southeast corners. Each scoreboard is 53 feet tall and 97 feet wide, meaning the fans won't miss any of the action.

The mechanized roof and the moveable window wall allow for Lucas Oil Stadium to host both indoor and outdoor games while allowing a great deal of ambient sunlight in. Other modern amenities include over 100 luxury suites and concessions areas that will cater to almost every taste.

Weather
In September it's 70 degrees outside. But in November and December the dome's Teflon roof offers welcome relief from snow and temperatures in the teens and lower.

Concessions
As in any other stadium, the usual hot dogs, popcorn, and pretzels are available, They're also worth avoiding. Smart fans frequent the small stands in the dome's concourse. Pizza Hut is a favorite.

Parking
Considering the dome is downtown, parking isn't a problem: 44,300 spaces are within a square mile of the dome.
