Alltel Stadium has a plush feel and was designed with fan comfort in mind. Although to new to have developed a distinct personality, Alltell Stadium is already renowned as a comfortable and pleasant place to take in a football game. Some fans sail to the games and dock their boats at the nearby marina.

In 1997, Alltel Communications purchased the naming rights to the stadium, thus getting its present day name, Alltel Stadium. The stadium has many amenities including 10,000 club seats and two Touchdown Clubs that provide more than 65,000 square feet of air-conditioned comfort with a variety of food and beverage selections. Alltel Stadium hosts many other events besides Jaguars games, including the Gator Bowl and concerts.

Weather
Average temperatures range from the hot and humid low 80s in August to the mid-50s in January. Florida is noted for its rainy climate, but Jacksonville's yearly average of 54 inches doesn't keep it as wet as Miami.

Concessions
Food at the stadium runs the range of traditional fare including hot dogs, pizza, burgers, pretzels, and nachos. The concessions are divided into six kinds of areas scattered throughout the stadium: American Food Court, Boselli's Pizzeria, Gridiron Grille, South of the Cantina, Extra Pointe Sweet Shoppe, and Press Box Deli. The usual array of domestic and imported beers is also available.

Parking
Alltel is located east of downtown and is surrounded by parking lots; all allow tailgating. There are a few stadium lots that are available game by game, as well as several private lots.

Directions

Coming from the Southside on I-95:
Take the MAIN STREET EXIT and cross the Main Street Bridge, exit at OCEAN STREET. Turn right on UNION STREET and follow the signs for the STADIUM.

Coming from the Northside on I-95:
Stay in the left-hand lane and get off at the UNION STREET exit. It will be on your left. Stay on UNION STREET until you get to the COLISEUM / A. PHILLIP RANDOLPH exit. Turn right at the first light on A. PHILLIP RANDOLPH BLVD and turn right. Go one block to the next light, then left on DUVAL STREET. The Sports Complex will be on your right.

Coming from the Beaches on the Arlington Expressway / Matthews Bridge:
Take the STADIUM exit or the COLISEUM / FLORIDA AVENUE exit. Follow the signs to the Stadium or Coliseum.

Coming from the Hart Bridge:
Exit at either ADAMS STREET or DUVAL STREET and turn left on LIBERTY STREET to BAY STREET and follow the signs to the Stadium.
