John Mayer
John Mayer is a pop music singer and songwriter. In 2005, he made the transition in to the blues genre. Mayers inspiration for pop music and the guitar did not come around until the age of 13. Mayers father brought home a Stevie Ray Vaughan tape and this is when he discovered the blues and began playing the guitar. After a couple of years of practice Mayer began playing in blues bars. He was in a band called Villanova Junction while in high school with Joe Beleznay, Tim Procaccini, and Rich Wolf.
