Indiana Hoosiers
While Coach Kelvin Sampson has had fallout from recruiting behavior to deal with, he will field what is probably one of the most talented IU teams in some time, thanks to a stellar recruiting class to bolster his already talented returning roster. Is this the year the Hoosiers make it back to the Final Four? Leading the way for Indiana is big man D.J. White, an impressive post player that can mix it up in the paint or venture outside and hit some open jump shots. White is an NCAA Player of the Year talent and will probably win the Big Ten Player of the Year as well.

Joining D.J. is one of the more heralded freshmen from the 2007 class - Eric Gordon. Gordon comes to Bloomington with a prep resume others can't match and is expected to be a one-and-done type of player. Pairing Gordon and White gives IU one of more explosive inside-out tandems in basketball and these types of partnerships usually lead to highly successful seasons. Joining these two will be JUCO transfer Jamarcus Ellis, a talented swing-man who filled up the stat sheet while in junior college. The presence of Ellis gives the Hoosiers as talented of a threesome as any team in the US.

If the players and coaches can put the cell phone debacle behind them and concentrate on basketball, they have the makings of a special team, something the IU faithful can certainly appreciate. As it stands, Indiana is probably the best team in the Big Ten and is a definite threat to make the Final Four.
