Ladies of the Australian Open
While most of the blogosphere is focusing on how performances like Absinthe impact the Australian Open, folks like DC Scrap have been doing a great job of documenting the more well-known tennis hotties that have been appearing down under to play a little tennis; but that doesn’t mean there isn’t more to contribute, because there is. We all know about the Ana Ivanovics and Maria Sharapovas of the world, but the list doesn’t start and end with those two.
No, women’s tennis is like an untapped natural resource of attractive women and me being the enterprising content producer I am, it would be remiss of me if I didn’t do my part and bring you these lovely ladies.
With that, here are some of the ladies of the Australian Open, some you probably know, and some you may not. Remember, discovery is a beautiful thing. Make sure you embrace it. Leading off our little pictorial is Anastasia Rodionova. Enjoy:
Nice, um, skirt. Yeah, that’s it.
Obviously, tennis brings out the competitive face of the players. Oh yeah, for those curious about this selection, I never said this was restricted to only hot tennis players; although, Jelena is not unattractive at all.
Most already know about Maria, but that doesn’t mean she doesn’t belong here, because she certainly does. Most definitely. Lots more pictures of Maria here.
Besides tennis, Camille likes to SCUBA dive. I think I speak for most, if not all of us when I say, “I support Camille’s swimming endeavors.”
Miss Kerber is 20-year old German tennis pro who enjoys shopping, sleeping and spending time with her friends. In that order, apparently. I think it was her eyes that made me include her in this little round-up.
Female hair + Tennis = Good times
Because of all the trunk-twisting going on in a normal tennis match, coupled with the long, flowing locks of hair, you get pictures like these:
Oh, and the Aussie Open fans are hot, too:
Or at least, pleasantly endowed (far left). Bikinis in January? They must be in Australia because it sure as hell isn’t the Midwest of the United States.
What would a “Ladies of Tennis” post be without the Williams sisters? Not much of one, that’s what. Serena looks dope in her blue get-up, while Venus certainly stands out with the bright green/yellow. And with that, we must bring our little gallery to a close.
If you’d like to see more of these and other tennis players of the feminine persuasion, The Tennis Forum might be able to help.
