Tis the season for Christmas greetings, something the sports world loves to take part in. Take this offering from the Sea Gals, the cheerleading outfit of the Seattle Seahawks — amazingly enough — and their recitation of the The Night Before Christmas. If you’re not feeling the Christmas spirit, this should help, especially if you’re a guy. In fact, if you’re one of those last-second shopping dudes, perhaps you should use the Sea Gals as proper motivation.
It worked for me. Especially when Rachel shows up.
We’ll be enjoying the Holidays until next week, so please, do so yourself. If you’re traveling, be careful, especially if there’s inclement weather involved. Perhaps this goes without saying, but then again, maybe it doesn’t:
As I was saying, be safe. We’ll be back sporadically next week, discussing the BCS and who knows what else. Until then, Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, Festivus, Kwanzaa or whatever tradition you observe during the Holiday season. As for me, I’ll be all over some NBA action on Christmas Day, while enjoying time with the family. Oh, I’ll be doing a lot of driving as well, meaning I’m included in those driving well-wishes.
When I first saw LeBron’s incredible dunk against Houston last night — better than the blocked shot from where I’m sitting — something Christmas-y came over me, so I made the following image for your holiday enjoyment. The gif probably won’t go over so well in Houston, but maybe the Santa hat will salve any leftover hard feelings.
Merry Christmas from the Raiderettes … Something I can certainly support — the cheerleaders and the well-wishing. Adding joy to holiday cheer for Oakland fans: The Raiders actually won yesterday and JaMarcus didn’t look too bad at all in the process. Has he escaped the “bust zone” or are we still in “wait and see” mode?
