Thank god for high definition television broadcasts; although, the twin peaks behind Bobby Knight’s head would’ve been noticeable even if they were in black and white. This little gem of a picture was seen during the Kansas/Oklahoma State beatdown. After the glorious low-cut Kansas shirt was observed, the first instinct was to take a screenshot, but then you realized 30 FPS was on it, and so you can just sit back and enjoy the view.

Yesterday, the fellows at BustedCoverage.com found and displayed some images from NBA TV’s Melanie Collins’ youth. There about what you’d expect in this day and age. Images of her partying and, well, enjoying the company of another female’s posterior. Needless to say, when titillating images of an attractive sports personality are discovered, sites with mass appeal tend to take notice. Melanie’s youthful indiscretions are no different.
Unfortunately, Collins doesn’t seem to appreciate the surprise attention, and used her Twitter account to relay her thoughts — there I go Twitter-stalking again — through the voice of Robert Montgomery Knight. Yes, Collins used Bobby Knight’s “kiss my ass” quote to explain her reaction. Considering one of the pictures in question, her response is quite fitting.
Considering Bobby Knight’s new gig at ESPN, this seems awfully fitting. What we have is a video of Michael Jenkins of Comcast Sports decided he’d show a little love to the sweatered coach by acting like he was having an anger fit during the broadcast. He even grabs his co-host’s papers and sends them flying and then he lovingly puts his hands around her neck.
He then continues on with his report:
It was a tad forced, but I admire the effort. While I’m sure his co-host was in the gag, she did seem a bit surprised when Jenkins started shaking her by the neck; all in the name of Bob Knight. Good times.
Discussing his surprising decision to leave Texas Tech, Coach Bobby Knight spoke to ESPN’s Jay Bilas to give his side of the story. For those of us thinking this was a retirement, we may need to think again:
So, do you think Bobby Knight will turn up on another school’s sidelines? If so, where?
A word to the wise: If Texas Tech coach Bob Knight is hunting on or near your property, your best bet is to ignore him and hope that he’ll either go away or won’t shoot you with a shotgun full of birdshot pellets… at least, that’s one version of the story going around about alleged shooting incidents involving Coach Robert Montgomery Knight.
“Mary Ann Chumley said she was struck on the foot by a stray pellet on Oct. 20 in an incident she characterized as an accident. She said Knight apologized for hunting too close to her barn and she forgave him.
Another resident near the dove field said the coach and another hunter returned the next day and one of them intentionally fired a shotgun in his direction.
James Simpson told Lubbock police he was struck on the neck and back by pellets after yelling at Knight and another man he believed were hunting too close to his house.”
When asked about his reaction to the story, Coach Knight said he thought the shooting claims were “absolute [expletive],” making Coach Knight one of the most eloquent speakers of our time. At least he didn’t throw a chair at them.
