We at IntentionalFoul.com are big fans of Gina Carano, so you can imagine our excitement when we came across a Muscle & Fitness video of Gina working out as she trains for her MMA career. Remember, she’s not just an American Gladiator. In the video Gina, who is 4-0 as a MMA participant, demonstrates some of the techniques she uses all while maintaining her incredibly attractive appearance.
Nothing from nothing, but I’m think the guy she’s sparring with is one lucky SOB. It’s not everyday a guy gets to have Gina Carano’s legs wrapped around them… OK, I may have embellished that thought a little, but you get the idea. While she’s still American Gladiating, Gina’s also preparing for a May 31st MMA bout with Kaitlin Young, which will be shown on the CBS premiere of EliteXC Saturday Night Fights.
I just hope they make liberal use of their leg grappling skills.
Ever since the announcement that American Gladiators was coming back to the boob tube, a great deal of the focus has been on Gina Carano, AKA Crush and that’s something we can certainly get support. Because ABC is all about marketing their product, they’ve introduced a little “getting to know the Gladiators” segment and thanks to Ultimate MMA Video blog, we can now share the Crush interview.
Fans of Gina won’t be disappointed. At all.
Update – The original video was removed before it could be transported over to YouTube. To compensate, I’m using the above interview of Crush and Wolf talking about their dating lives, among other things.
America’s favorite show* is being renewed for another season, giving the public more of what they want: average Joes (and Janes) “competing” with mountain-sized muscle-bound opponents. We’ve made our affection for AG known here at Intentional Foul known, especially for Gladiator Gina “Crush” Carano so it brought a smile to our face when Variety broke the news.
While we understand the criticisms aimed at AG, we pretty much view it as what it was intended for: a competition for the WWE fanbase… and an opportunity to view a more muscled version of potential Eye Candy award winners. Although, one has to wonder if this would be the case if the writer’s strike was still going on… of course, that is until you consider America’s insatiable appetite for all things reality.
Yes, the new American Gladiators debuted on NBC last night and the response was less than gracious. I’m not sure if folks were expecting a multi-billion dollar production but I got just about what I expected. Instead of ripping on the microphone stylings of Laila Ali and Hulk Hogan, I’ll simply say this:
WE NEED MORE CRUSH!!!
Crush, AKA Gina Carano, is the gem of this version of AG and she should be at the front and center of the Gladiator cast. Her roll down the pyramid was incredible…
American Gladiators makes its triumphant return to network television shortly after the New Year begins and to celebrate, we are going to recognize the females of the group. Now, in case you aren’t aware of what American Gladiators is, allow YouTube to assist in your crash-course education… Actually, allow me to present my personal favorite — Gladiator Malibu discussing an injury.
Totally, brah.Anyway, in honor of the new edition of American Gladiators, I’d like to recognize this new generation of Gladiators, focusing on the fairer sex, of course. Leading the way is Gina “Crush” Carano (my fave). She’s joined by Jaime Kovac, aka Fury; Robin Coleman, aka Hellga; Valerie Waugaman, aka Siren; and the awesome Beth Horn, aka Venom (all links go to a site related to each Gladiator… unfortunately, Jamie Kovac doesn’t have one worth linking to).
Congratulations ladies, the five of you represent this week’s Intentional Eye Candy award… Now lets see you fight each other for it.
OK, time for some pics:
Update: It was pointed out to me that I overlooked Stealth, aka Tanji Johnson and that’s something we cannot have. Allow me to rectify my oversight:
