You really know how to stroke my ego. I have a somewhat of a humorous story that may fit in here. Upon graduating high school in 1998, I attempted to play football at Simpson College, a Division III school. Now you can imagine how cool I thought I was having the same last name as that years Heisman Trophy winner and being a defensive back(free safety). Well, the head coach at the time was some old JoePa type of coach, been there forever and had a ton of wins. We were preseason number one, solely based on them recruiting me. Yeah right. Come time for some tests (40yd, 300yd etc.) and the old boy hears my last name and asks "Can you play like Charles?". and no shit I turn to the old boy and in front of 100 dudes i didn't even know and all the other coaches and say "If I could I wouldn't be here.", and then killed the 300 yd agility run. I quit 10 days later. they tried making me a cornerback and i wouldn't have any of it. I was troy polamalu before troy polamalu. You can't keep a beast in a cage on the corners, especially when that beast was chubby, asthmatic and had a bad knee. Jeff Woodson Thanks for the honorable mention Nate.
