Folks, you are looking at what could be the best sprinter to ever run at the Olympics — Usain Bolt. Bolt has just broken Michael Johnson’s 200-meter record on route to his second gold medal in another eye-popping performance. The old record — 19.32 – Bolt’s time — 19.30.

That’s just inhuman.

Of course, we Americans won’t be able to watch the race until sometime around midnight or so, but hey, NBC knows what’s best, correct?

Bolt’s Olympics have been so breathtaking in their dominance, he’s threatening to overshadow Michael Phelps. While Bolt won’t win eight golds, he does have a chance for two more, provided he wants to run in both of the relay races (4×1 and the 4×4). Remember, Flo-Jo ran one of the 4×400 legs in Seoul so the idea is not completely foreign. However, Bolt’s inhuman speed is — although, I’m not sure if foreign is the right word for his talent.

Alien might be more appropriate.

If Bolt does win one or two golds in the same dramatic fashion — if destroying the field can be considered “dramatic” — his star will shine just as bright as the Phelps constellation.

Update: Video of the Bolt’s performance (via TBL). Get it while it’s hot because his ability defies description.
