What I’m saying is if you are capable of getting a girl as attractive as Peregrym, I’m not sure what you are doing harassing hotel help. It’s probably a case of Ben not wanting to hear the word “no” and he responds in kind. More to the point, if I had a girl who was that attractive, I wouldn’t feel the need to put myself in a situation with a hotel concierge. Unfortunately for Ben, what he had was apparently not good enough.

And in no way do I think the attractiveness of a accuser has anything to do with whether or not she was raped. I just don’t understand why Ben would put himself in such a position, especially with a lady like Peregrym showing interest in him.

What if it is all about the sense of power and conquest? What if it is only about immediate gratification? After all, nothing is said about Peregrym even being at the club that night… maybe Roethlisberger – with all the aggression he is awarded (handsomely – clearly) for on the field, carried it off the field with him and just felt he deserved relief and selected from what was available. He may prefer steak but that doesn’t mean he wouldn’t enjoy the occasional hamburger…

With all this said, I’ve rationalized it in *your* terms without suggesting that many people would find McNulty quite attractive and as attractive or more so than Peregrym. Not to fault either woman but let’s be fair and if you REALLY want to compare that game let’s not compare the casual snapshot to the carefully staged and best shot of what is clearly a professionally shot, airbrushed and cropped photo shoot of Peregrym’s.

You guys may not be guilty of sexual assault (and it’s possible that Roethlisberger isn’t either but regardless of how much of a ‘slut’ you want to believe the victim is/was – I don’t think his bodyguards prevented her friends from entering the bathroom without some sort of reason)…but your logic actually makes it more obvious why Roethlisberger could be since his sense of logic is likely pretty similar to yours. That women are commodities to be evaluated based on factors regarding glamor and shine – kind of like a car.

Congratulations. You must be so proud to support your team with such enthusiasm.. to the expense of the honor and pride of women everywhere – including your wives, girlfriends, mothers and daughters. After all, the woman MUST be lying, right and only cause she’s not HOT enough to be believed? After everything you’ve seen in recent years regarding the behavior of men in the public eye?
