They are playing to the level of their opponents instead of setting the pace of the game themselves. Of course, that could work to their favor in the playoffs. This entire year I've felt like anything could happen. Is it the 80s? Sure feels like it, except our record is much better and we have a good QB. Still... the results... who knows. That’s it exactly. They narrowly lost to the two #1 seeds (Patrioits and Falcons), shut out the Jets, stomped the Cowboys and Lions, but then lost games to the Redskins, Dolphins and Lions. I'm a lifelong fan, so I'll always hold hope, but they've already been in the "playoffs" for 2 weeks now. I'd love to see them beat the Eagles - they owe Vick for the 27-7, first-home-playoff-loss-ever shallacking in 2003 and they owe the Eagles for the 4th-and-26 meltdown in 2004. I suppose they owe the Falcons for Gonzalez' non-catch on 4th down this year, and let's face it, they always owe the Bears a good beatdown. All that said, honestly nothing would surprise me.
