While the Atlanta Hawks rolled over the offensively inept Miami Heat last night — 90-64 — Josh Smith put on a dunk show that highlighted Atlanta’s Game One domination. While helping finish the Heat, Smith finished with 23 points and 10 rebounds, as well as five nasty dunks in a manner you would expect from a high flier like Smith. Smith’s dunk-a-thon went a long way in demonstrating just how thoroughly the Hawks dominated Dwyane Wade and the Heat.

Speaking of the MVP favorite Wade, if the Heat want to win just one game against the Hawks, he’ll need to do more than just put up 19 points on 8-21 shooting, coupled with 8 turnovers. It would also help the Heat’s cause if the rest of the team could shoot better than a combined 18-50. That kind of shooting would make it hard to beat the Sacramento Kings, let alone a decent playoff team like Atlanta.

Game 2 is Wednesday night.
