IntentionalFoul.com is back up and posting, and to celebrate our first day of the new launch, here’s DeMar DeRozan dunking all over Tyrus Thomas in what was the most impressive play of last night’s sports action. Granted, as a UK fan, seeing Tennessee and Louisville both lose at home to unranked teams was pretty grand as well, but neither game had anything as ferocious as DeRozan’s “Let’s make a poster with Tyrus Thomas” dunk.

Hell, even Charlotte Bobcats owner Michael Jordan had to acknowledge DeRozan’s one-play victory.

As for the new-look IntentionalFoul.com, there will be a few changes, but you can certainly expect a continuation of the good content we’re going to provide. And no, that’s not the “royal we,” either. I’m talking about myself and Nate.

As far as I’m concerned, today is my last day with the company in Kansas City, but fear not, I’ll continue contributing to IF on a regular, if not daily basis. The reason for my departure is because I’m finally going back to college to finish my degree. As you can probably guess, I’ll be attending the University of Kentucky, which should help make me an even more insufferable Kentucky fan than I already am, if that’s even possible.

While I have a lot of thanks to give to lots of different folks along the way, I’d like to send a big shout-out to Sooze at BabesLoveBaseball.com. Sooze was one of my first real contacts with the sports blog world and without her help and encouragement, who knows where IF would be. Thank you, Sooze. If more writers had your enthusiasm, the world of reading would be a much better place.

Of course, I would be remiss if I didn’t include Aaron Chronister, aka, The Mad Hat, aka, King of the Bacon Explosion. If Aaron hadn’t taken a chance on me, this blog never would’ve existed.
