Look, I know Dwight Howard is a freak of nature and perhaps the most talented player in the NBA, but does that mean opposing teams can’t put a body on him when it comes to rebounding missed shots? Or does letting him walk right into the middle of the paint unopposed to collect and redeposit missed Magic shots seem like a good idea? I mean, can’t you make him work for his points and rebounds?

In other Dwight Howitzer news, Superman has reclaimed his place in the world by retaking the lead in the NBA’s dunk tally. For a time, Denver’s Nene was leading the league in dunks, but he’s been taken over by Howard, who leads with a current total of 78-71. Rounding out the top five are Andrew Bynum, Amar’e Stoudemire and LeBron James. As for Howard, if that’s the most resistance he can expect in the paint, it’s doubtful he’ll relinquish his lead anytime soon.
