The Philadelphia Phillies got their World Championship rings today — no fan fights reported — as they try to avoid being swept by the Atlanta Braves. Unfortunately for the Phillies faithful, they are failing miserably at the moment. Does anybody win on championship celebration days anymore?
Here a few details on the rings in question:
Each 14 karat white gold ring contains 103 diamonds, totaling 3.84 karats. The 103 diamonds represent the 92 regular season and 11 postseason wins for the Phillies in 2008.

That ring is more valuable than me. Nice comeback last nite. I wonder how they’ll top those rings after they win it all again this year, IMO. They’ll probably just give them the keys and Level 5 security clearance into Fort Knox. No idea what that really means I just watch a lot of 24. Will Tony make it out bro? They can’t kill him again…can they?
That ring is worth more than the state of Kentucky.
And Tony damn well better make it out of Starkwood’s compound. If he doesn’t, I’m all for Zombie Tony showing up next season.
