I actually flipped back and forth between 24 and the game, watching the last 2-plus minutes in their entirety. I’m glad I didn’t commit two hours to it, because I’m not sure I could’ve contained my response if I did.

I put off a TWO HOUR 24 last night to watch Butler shock the world (sort of). And now I hate dUKe worse than you do my friend. Our hatred is mutual, no question, but g**damn I hate those bitches. And you’re right, their last 3 games were against quality opponents. But as, supposedly, the “fourth #1 seed”, they got the easiest bracket I have EVER seen. In fairness to the players themselves though, they had no say-so in the selection process and they did exactly what they were supposed to do. They went out and won 6 games in a row. None of them particularly sexy, but effective. So…hat tip, congrats and enjoy it while you can because it’ll never get any easier than that. Effin weak. Oh and btw, there are no basketball Gods. Not any more. Last night proved it. I mean, could there have EVER been a more poetic and just way for dUKe to lose a national title game than to get beat by a 45 footer as time expired? I saved all my lucky smokes from the last few days and smoked them all in the final three minutes. It nearly worked Dude, I just KNEW that ball was going in. DAMN….I #U@Kin’ hate dUKe. How long ’til Midnight Madness?
