Yeah, we’re not even done with the first month of 2009, but it’s going to be hard to top what Jarret Johnson of Anderson University did to the Coker College player who tried to take a charge. I’m having flashbacks of Dirk Minnifield–the dunker, not the failed real estate agent. Johnson’s dunk was all over ESPN last night and it’s making the sports blogosphere rounds this morning. With good reason. It’s not often we get to see an opposing player get used as step-ladder on a breakaway dunk.

One question though: was that a charge? I’d like to see Dwight Howard do something like this in next month’s dunk contest. He could use Jameer Nelson as his prop; although, I doubt Howard would have to jump that high to clear his six-foot point guard.
