Justin Timberlake joined The Mickey Mouse Club in 1993. When the show ended in 1995 he asked JC Chasez to be in a new all male singing group he was forming with his friend Chris Kirkpatrick. The group was 'N Sync. The group formed in 1995 and in 1996 started their career in Germany and hit it big in the States in 1998. They eventually released the fastest selling album of all time, No Strings Attached, in 2000. Their second album was released in 2001, Celebrity, and after their Celebrity Tour and the release of "Girlfriend" the group decided to take time off. This is when Timberlake began working on his first solo album. At the 2002 MTV Video Music Awards,Timberlake premiered his first single, "Like I Love You." The song instantly became a hit and his first album, Justified was released in November of 2002. The album was a success producing hit singles "Cry Me a River" and "Rock Your Body." He went on tour with Christina Aguilera for the Justified/Stripped tour to promote his new album. In 2004, he put his music career on hold to experience acting; however he continued to work with other artists. In 2006, he had a cameo in Nelly Furtado and Timbaland's video for her single "Promiscuous." He released his second album, Future Sex/Love Sounds in September of 2006. The album was an instant success producing hits like "Sexyback" and "My Love.” In October of 2006 he made an announcement that he would focus on his music career rather than his film roles. In addition to his tours and albums, he has opened several restaurants in the United States, and has started the William Rast clothing line which is sold in Bloomingdale's. He started this line with childhood friend Trace Ayala. Their 2007 line contains cord jackets, cashmere sweaters, jeans, and polo shirts. Timberlake dated pop singer Britney Spears for several years, but the couple broke up in 2002 after rumors of Spears' infidelity. He has since dated actresses Alyssa Milano and Cameron Diaz. Who he is dating now is anybodies guess.
