Alan Jackson is a country music singer and songwriter. He became one of the best-selling country musicians of the 1990's.

Alan Jackson is originally from Georgia. His wife, Denise, got him connected with Glen Campbell, who helped him get his career started. Jackson's first album, "Here in the Real World" was a hit, as was his second album, "Don't Rock the Jukebox". His 1992 release, "A Lot About Livin' (And a Little 'Bout Love)" was an extreme success. It produced five major singles including the most successful, "Chattahoochee". He created several more albums over the years, and the hit no one will forget is "Where Were You" which was a song about the September 11th attacks.

Jackson has won several awards over the years. He has released over 16 albums and had many released singles. His latest album is "Precious Memories" that came out in 2006. Check out his summer 2006 tour.
